MEMBER TYPES

EffoThere are a number of member types recognized in the structure of the project.

 

4.1 The Member Hierarchy

 

The member types recognized are the following: Sponsoring Organizations, Project Director, Chief Editors, Editors, Contributors, and Junior Contributors. Those who are associated with various member types will sometimes change. Ultimately, all responsible parties are subject to the sponsoring organizations’ choices concerning appointment. All members will be listed publicly as members of the project. All data collected by a member will also be associated with that member. Participation is ultimately determined by the project director, though in consultation with others such as the chief editor and editors.

 

 

4.2              Sponsoring Organizations:

 

The sponsoring organizations are The Biblical Studies Foundation and Lexel Software. These organizations are jointly responsible for the project in regards to fund management and organizational control.

 

4.3 Project Director

 

The project director is responsible for guiding the project in regard to data collection, releases, and technical direction. The project director is subject to the sponsoring organizations.

 

4.4 Chief Editor

 

The chief editor’s main responsibility is to watch over the quality of the work being done by contributors and junior contributors. If editors are appointed, the chief editor will be responsible for providing leadership for the editors under him. The chief editor is subject to the decisions of the project director.

 

4.5 Editor

 

The editor’s main responsibility is to watch over the quality of work being done by contributors and junior contributors. The editor is subject to the decisions of the chief editor.

 

4.6 Contributor

 

The contributor’s main task is to create data for the project. A contributor is appointed as such from being a Junior Contributor by the chief editor. The contributor is subject to the decisions of the chief editor.

 

4.7 Junior Contributor

 

The junior contributor’s main task is to create data for the project. A junior contributor is the entry level at which all who participate in the task of data collection are appointed. The junior contributor is subject to the decisions of the chief editor.
