Effo1. INTRODUCTION
The following is a description of the guidelines and procedures that the Biblical Studies Foundation and Lexel Software intend to follow for the NET Greek-English Morphology and Syntax project (NET GEMS). Any situations that arise that arise that are not covered by the following will be decided upon jointly by the sponsoring organizations, The Biblical Studies Foundation and Lexel Software. Any question regarding this document can be sent to eric.sowell@lexelsoftware.com.
2. SCOPE
The scope of the project is to produce a syntactical analysis of the New Testament documents. Other documents may be included later under this project, or may be created as separate projects.
3. GENERAL INTENT
To create a dataset of syntactical tags as an aid for study, translation, and analysis of the New Testament documents that can be freely used for personal, academic, and all non-profit uses. Though The Biblical Studies Foundation and/or Lexel Software may create software for study, translation, and analysis, the project itself is concerned only with the creation of the data.
